British expert Simon Hardy suggests MH370’s vanishing was a deliberate mass-murder-suicide by pilot Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah.
“Search team member Hardy believes the pilot steered MH370 into the Geelvinck Fracture Zone. His theory, informed by simulations and satellite data, indicates the plane flew hidden for seven extra hours.”
“MH370 vanished on March 8, 2014, with 239 onboard, becoming a major aviation mystery. Despite a vast search, it disappeared from radar 39 minutes post-departure from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.”

The theory of a murder-suicide by the pilot is one of several that have been investigated over the years.
“The FBI reportedly supports Hardy’s unproven theory. “Hardy suggests the pilot’s cockpit-only fuel and oxygen request could have incapacitated everyone before ditching the plane.”
“The Bureau said simulator data suggests planning but doesn’t detail the disappearance or location.”

“Ocean Infinity has proposed resuming the MH370 search on a ‘no find, no fee’ basis.”
Malaysia’s transport ministry has stated that it would consider the proposal if there is credible new evidence.
“Pilot suicide, leading to deliberate crashes, has precedents in aviation history.”
However, without the discovery of the wreckage, the true cause of MH370’s disappearance remains speculative.
“The MH370 search, aviation’s costliest, leaves families anguished. Malaysia vows to continue, hinting at a hopeful new search.”
