Haley Pullos, famous for playing Molly Lansing-Davis on “General Hospital,” is seeking to dismiss a civil lawsuit linked to a DUI car crash in April 2023.
The incident involved Pullos driving into oncoming traffic on a Pasadena freeway, resulting in a collision with another vehicle. The actress has denied responsibility for the crash and has asked the Los Angeles Superior Court to dismiss driver Courtney Wilder’s civil lawsuit over serious injuries.
Pullos has argued that the damages were caused by the negligent or intentional conduct of the plaintiffs and that any recovery costs should be reduced proportionately based on their contribution to the alleged damages. She further claimed that any damages were beyond her control and demanded the dismissal of all claims against her.
Following the crash, Pullos was charged with felony DUI causing injury, felony driving with a .08 percent blood-alcohol content causing injury, and misdemeanor hit-and-run resulting in property damage. Despite pleading not guilty in the criminal case, she may consider changing her plea to potentially avoid prison time.
The actress’s request for dismissal of the civil lawsuit comes after she entered a rehabilitation treatment facility post-accident. Pullos had also announced stepping back from her role in “General Hospital” to focus on recovery.
The legal battle over this incident persists as Pullos aims to dismiss the lawsuit, denying responsibility for the crash and challenging the claims made by the other driver.
